Academic publications are for everyone, but what you’ll find here are pieces I wrote or edited with researchers and professors in mind as my audience. This means the language will be more specialized, I assume readers already have a basic understanding of the concepts I’m discussing, and my intent is to push for depth.

Public

These are pieces I’ve written (solo or in partnership) with a public audience in mind. They’re meant to be accessible and useful for anyone with general interest in the topics. They don’t go quite as deep as a piece written for an academic audience.

Show Strength: How to Respond When Worship Materials are Implicated in Abuse

Why the Betrayal of Bill Cosby, Eric Schneiderman, and Other Influential Men is Deeper than You Think

Ritual

Here, you’ll find rituals and liturgies I’ve written or edited (solo or in partnership) for use in specific communities. Some are accompanied by written explanation. Some are not. The key is that these are words that can be practiced.
